Design and optimization of varifocal lens
Vilém, Jan ; Vacula, Daniel (referee) ; Antoš, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and optimization of varifocal lens for projection illuminating purposes, its mechanical design and manufacturing drawings. It was proceed in the cooperation with Robe Lighting s.r.o., which defined requirement for a new projective objective lens. Lighting fixtures development is a very specific industry with a number of unusual conditions for design and methods of using of the optical systems. In this paper conditions for imaging quality will be defined and a new design of the lens with corrected distortion will be created based on the definition of the conditions.
Design of the telescope spectrograph for distant object analysis
Drobil, Tomáš ; Pořízka, Pavel (referee) ; Novotný, Jan (advisor)
Meteor spectra obtained from orbit include many spectral lines in the ultraviolet region, which is mostly absorbed by the atmosphere and thus cannot be observed from ground stations. This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a spectrograph, placed in a 2U CubeSat, suitable for meteor observation and its spectral analysis in the range from the ultraviolet to near-infrared region. The design includes choice of a suitable camera. Based on the required parameters, several designs have been created, and the process is summarized in the last chapter. The research study of telescopes combined with spectrometers used for meteor observations is also included.
Design of microscope LED illumination system
Gricová, Monika ; Dostál, Zbyněk (referee) ; Antoš, Martin (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor thesis was to design illumination assemblage in confocal microscope Confocal 2002. First part of this paper describes types and components of confocal microscopes. For correct function of the microscope, high-power illumination by a white light emmiter is required. Based on the analysis of the background research, suitable LED diode was selected. In experimental part of this work, eight optical systems are proposed, that has been assembled and evaluated. Based on the evaluation of obtained paramteres, the optimal assemblage was selected and designed for production.
Optical design of telecentric F-theta objective
Perháč, Timotej ; Zámečník, Jan (referee) ; Antoš, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with optical design of f-theta lens for purposes of precision micromachining using a laser beam. Optical design consists of creating a nominal design according to specifications given by Meopta – optika s.r.o company and a tolerance analysis, which describes manufacturability of given design. Specifications given are most importantly diffraction limited image quality, correction of distortion throughout the field and telecentricity of systém in image space. F-theta lens in this thesis was created using an optical design software called Zemax.
